Bit of back ground , after both my parents passed away in 2000 I decided to do my Family tree starting with my Fathers side his Father my Grandad father was born in Kiama his Father my Great Grand father was born in Ireland he came to Wollongong NSW and Married my Great Grandmother her mother my Great great grandmother is buried in Rookwood Cemetery the largest Cemetery in the Southern hemisphere and is world largest remaining operating cemetery from the Victorian era
On the morning of day 2 we took a train out to Rockwood to find the grave of my great great grandmother when we got there we where amazed by the size of the place we went to the office and the grounds keeper took us to the grave site as we would have got so lost was very emotional for me but great to have found it
When we returned to the city we went to checkout the Queen Victoria building it is a 19th century building designed by George McRae constructed between 1893 - 1898 the building fits a city block it has a lot of little boutique shops with amazing lead light windows
Then we went for a ride on the Monorail which hung of the side of some of the building was awesome but I believe has now gone

In the evening we went out for dinner at Darling Harbour |
Our time in Sydney was amazing we found our way around which in a big city for us was very impressive
Day 3 tomorrow
Have a great day :)
